Air rates and timing
| What we carry | Rate | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Components and mid-range categories | Base rate | 4–7 days flight + 3–4 days Poland and customs |
| Mid-range goods category | Above the base rate | The same |
| Hard-to-export goods | Well above the base rate | The same |
| Shipping from Hong Kong | Cheaper than mainland China | The same |
| Sea | Calculated individually | From three months |
The rates in the table are a reference as of August 6, 2026. In 2026 rates on these routes changed more than ten times because of inspections, fuel, downtime and customs rules. We confirm the final rate for the cargo on the day of the request. A quote holds for 7 days; a change is reported before loading.
T1 is paid separately and calculated from the invoice value. Departure can be from Shanghai, Beijing, Urumqi or sometimes Korea or Vietnam, depending on where the shipment can be cleared for export. Approval takes a few days, followed by 1–4 days to the inspection point and departure. We accept from 50 kg; it is more cost-effective to consolidate from 150 kg.
How the cost is calculated
For air, chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight at 167 kg/m³, the 1:6 conversion. Weight and dimensions are fixed at goods receipt. Measured volume is length × width × height and density is actual weight divided by that measured volume; the 1.1 stacking coefficient belongs to calculation volume, not to the density divisor. The quote states the measurements and the basis used.
Who files the declaration
You remain the importer of record. The supplier contract, declaration and goods are registered to your legal entity, and the input VAT remains yours. We organise the logistics, prepare the full set of import documents and hand it to your customs broker. If you do not have one, we can recommend vetted brokers or arrange filing as a separate service without changing who owns the goods.
Import under a contractor's contract is a different model: the goods are not yours on paper, there is no VAT to offset and a problem with the contractor can leave the cargo inside someone else's circuit. An official shipment uses a foreign trade contract, invoice, packing list, export declaration and transport documents, plus permits and certificates where needed. The duty depends on the UKTZED code; VAT is calculated on the sum of goods + shipping + duty.
What is included and what is separate
- Included in the workflow: pickup anywhere in China, receiving at our Guangzhou warehouse with photos and actual measurements, storage while the shipment is built, consolidation, international transport, preparation of the document set and manager updates at route milestones
- Paid separately: bag and tape – $5 per package; cardboard corner with a bag – $6; wooden crate – $15–25; palletised crate – $30 per cubic metre
- Also separate: T1, insurance, door-to-door delivery, inspection and an item-by-item recount; each cost is named before dispatch
Voluntary insurance is based on cargo value: 1.5% for a valuation up to $30 per kilogram, 2.5% for $30 to $50 and 3.5% for over $50. It covers loss, theft and non-delivery, not damage to the cargo. Packing is agreed for the route because it is the practical protection against breakage.
From the supplier to delivery in Ukraine
Send the goods, weight, dimensions and destination city; the quote explains its calculation basis.
A factory address or a link to the seller on a marketplace is enough.
Every package is weighed, measured and photographed on the day of receipt.
A bag, pallet or crate is selected for the cargo, then the shipment is assembled.
Documents are prepared before arrival, and the assigned manager communicates the route milestones.
After payment the cargo is handed over or delivered to the agreed address in Ukraine.
Payment to the supplier in China
We pay suppliers in yuan and dollars. A regular payment carries no separate fee: we quote the exchange rate. For an official contract, payment through our Hong Kong company is 1.5–2.2% depending on monthly volume; market intermediaries charge 3–20%. Payment and logistics remain separate amounts, handled through one operating contact.
