What DPC does

DPC organises regular supplies from China for business: checking the supplier, supplier payment, goods receipt and storage at our own warehouse in Guangzhou, inspection of the goods before dispatch, consolidation of several suppliers into one dispatch, delivery by cargo or official import, and the last mile. The services can be taken individually.

We calculate not a per-kilogram rate but the full economics of the shipment, and hand over the breakdown by block. Every supply follows the same order, and defects and discrepancies are found in Guangzhou, before dispatch, rather than at your warehouse.

Routes currently open: Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Europe. Each route has its own carriage scheme, its own lead time and its own mandatory insurance cover from the carrier: the terms are set out in the section insurance and packing.

What we handle in China

In China, we verify suppliers, check payment details and make supplier payments. We receive goods at our Guangzhou warehouse, record their weight and dimensions, inspect each shipment, consolidate goods from multiple suppliers and prepare them for dispatch.

How our warehouse works

We operate our own warehouse in Guangzhou. We do not publish its exact address; we provide it directly to suppliers when they are ready to ship. This is where our work begins: we count the packages, check SKUs against the packing list, weigh and measure the goods, inspect the packaging and provide a photo report.

Goods remain at the warehouse while orders from other suppliers are consolidated into the shipment. We do not charge for storage, so holding goods while the shipment is assembled does not add a warehouse fee to the quote.

We chose Guangzhou because it is close to manufacturing hubs and wholesale markets for most product categories, making domestic delivery to our warehouse less expensive. See our warehouse in China for the warehouse process and product inspection for details of the checks we carry out.

How we inspect your goods

You decide what happens to the goods. Our role is to give you the facts promptly and hold the shipment until any uncertainty has been addressed.

Quote for your shipment

We itemise the quote by stage: delivery within China, warehouse handling, inspection, international transport, documents and last-mile delivery. The quote is valid for 7 days.

If the actual weight or volume recorded at goods receipt differs from the supplier's figures, we recalculate the cost using our measurements and show you the difference.
Supplier payment

We check the beneficiary name, account number and bank against the invoice and contract before making the transfer.

If the payment details do not match the invoice and contract, we stop the payment and request the correct details.
Receiving in Guangzhou

We count, weigh and measure the packages, inspect the packaging and provide a photo report by SKU.

If we find missing or incorrect items or any damage, we photograph the discrepancy and agree the next step with you before dispatch.
Resolving discrepancies

You choose whether the supplier replaces the goods, sends the missing items, provides a discount, accepts a return, or whether we ship the goods as they are.

Until you confirm how to proceed, the goods remain at the warehouse.
Dispatch and handover to the carrier

We label the packages, prepare the packing list and hand the shipment over to the partner carrier.

If the schedule changes, we send you a revised estimate straight away rather than waiting until the shipment is already late.

What you receive

  • A dated, itemised quote, valid for 7 days.
  • Confirmation of the supplier payment showing the invoice number.
  • A goods receipt report covering package count, actual weight, dimensions and packaging.
  • A photo report documenting every discrepancy.
  • The packing list and package labels, updates from the carrier and notice of any change to the schedule.

Partners involved in transport and customs

We handle operations in China and manage the shipment. International transport, customs clearance and testing are carried out by specialist partners; we do not present their work as our own.

Where responsibility begins and ends

DPC is responsible for the agreed work within our part of the supply chain. International transport, customs clearance, laboratory testing and other specialist procedures are handled by the relevant partners.

  • International transport is handled by partner carriers.
  • The client remains the importer of record: the goods are imported in your company's name. We prepare the shipment and documents but do not become the importer.
  • We are not a customs broker. The import declaration is filed by an authorised broker in the country of import, and we work with that broker.
  • Customs clearance is an optional service: it is not included in the base quote and must be added separately.
  • Cargo damage is not covered by insurance: liability for damage is determined by the contract of carriage and the applicable convention. The carrier's mandatory cover applies to loss, theft and non-delivery.
  • We do not conduct laboratory tests. Material composition and electrical safety must be confirmed by an accredited laboratory, not by a warehouse inspection.
  • We are not responsible for the terms you agree with your supplier, including the price, order contents and production lead times.
  • We do not promise an exact arrival date: border queues, inspections and customs procedures can affect the schedule.
  • We do not assess market demand or take responsibility for sales.

The carrier provides mandatory insurance cover, and the amount depends on the route. We confirm the current voluntary insurance rate, scope of cover and packaging requirements when preparing your quote.

Why we spell this out

For every shipment, we agree in advance who is responsible for each stage and who to contact if an issue arises.

Операционная деятельность DPC в Китае осуществляется через 广州浩霖进出口贸易有限公司. Регистрационный номер: 91440104MAD0EWTP3W. Операционная база и склад находятся в Гуанчжоу. The quote for your shipment records the scope of services, itemised costs and a 7-day validity period. Your company remains the importer of record. We also confirm which documents your shipment requires.

We do not publish figures for client numbers or shipments; we only publish claims that can be supported by documents. The best way to assess a logistics provider is with a single shipment, where you can see the cost, lead time, quality of goods receipt and how problems are handled.

How to get started

A sensible first step is one shipment, not moving your entire volume at once. To prepare a quote, we need the product, weight, volume, number of packages, supplier's city and delivery city. If you already use another provider, compare both offers using the same shipment data; see switching from another logistics provider for the process. You can find the cost structure under shipping costs and concise answers in the FAQ.

FAQ

Who are DPC and how do you differ from ordinary cargo?

DPC is a supply operator, not just carriage by the kilogram. Besides delivery we do the work in China: we check the supplier against its business license, pay it, receive the cargo at our own warehouse in Guangzhou, inspect the goods and consolidate suppliers into one dispatch. We work to Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Europe. Cargo usually starts at the moment the goods have already been brought to the dispatch warehouse and ends at collection.

Is the warehouse your own or do you rent space from a partner?

The warehouse is our own, in Guangzhou. We do not publish the exact address and pass it to suppliers at the point of dispatch; goods receipt, measuring, the photo report and storage are done by our own staff. This matters because the actual weight and volume are recorded by whoever is responsible for the quote, and the supplier's figures are checked rather than copied into the waybill as they are.

How many years have you been on the market and how many clients do you have?

We do not publish figures for years in business, client numbers or shipments: they cannot be substantiated by documents on a website, and an unverifiable figure tells you nothing about how your shipment will be handled. It is easier to assess us in practice: a single test shipment shows the cost, lead time, quality of goods receipt and how we handle problems.

Are you a carrier or an intermediary?

We manage shipments, handling part of the work ourselves and using specialist partners for the rest. Partner carriers handle international transport, and a customs broker files the declaration. In China, we verify suppliers, make payments, receive and inspect goods at our Guangzhou warehouse, consolidate shipments and prepare the cargo documents.

Who is responsible if the cargo is damaged en route?

On the carriage leg the carrier is liable under its own transport documents, so the claim is made to the carrier, while we run that process from our side and hand over the goods receipt data. At the same time, damage to the cargo is not included in the insurance cover: liability for damage is determined by the contract of carriage and the applicable convention, while the carrier's mandatory cover applies to loss, theft and non-delivery. The goods receipt report with photos from Guangzhou shows the condition of the packaging before dispatch, and that is the main argument in a dispute. The terms are set out on the page insurance and packing.

Which legal entity am I working with?

Операционная деятельность DPC в Китае осуществляется через 广州浩霖进出口贸易有限公司. Регистрационный номер: 91440104MAD0EWTP3W. Операционная база и склад находятся в Гуанчжоу. The scope of services, itemised costs and the quote's 7-day validity period are documented before work begins. If we pay the supplier on your behalf, you receive confirmation showing the invoice number; goods receipt is documented in a report from our Guangzhou warehouse.
