Delivery from China to Russia
Two options. A direct TIR truck with white customs clearance — 15–20 days of actual transit, though the carrier quotes 12–15. Air express to Moscow — 72 hours after departure. Both go officially: the contract, invoice, and declaration are issued under your legal entity, the input VAT stays yours, and your customs broker handles the declaration. Minimum shipment — 50 kilograms.
Timelines: quoted and actual
| Method | Carrier quotes | Actual time |
|---|---|---|
| Truck, express route | 12–15 days | 15–20 days |
| Truck, standard route | 18–25 days | 18–35 days |
| Air express to Moscow | 72 hours after departure | 72 hours plus pickup in Moscow |
We quote the second column, not the first. The four-to-five-day difference on the express route isn't a safety margin — it's actual statistics: customs inspections in 2026 happen constantly, and that depends on neither us nor the broker.
The cargo goes out fast: packed in the evening — picked up that night. Having our own site in Guangzhou means the shipment doesn't wait in line at someone else's warehouse.
How a shipment works
We pick up from the supplier
By the factory address or the tracking number the seller gave you. We work across all of China.
We receive it at the warehouse
Recount, weighing, measurements, and photos on the day it arrives. You learn about any discrepancy from the declared figures from us, not from an invoice.
We pack for the route
A bag, cardboard corner, wooden crating, or palletizing — chosen for the cargo and the route, not just "as usual."
We prepare the documents
Contract, invoice, packing list, export declaration. The package goes to your broker before the cargo reaches the border.
We ship and report
When the cargo crosses the border, the carrier's confirmation comes in — this is the first point where we can say it's moving. After that, customs takes 1–4 days, then release.
How much it costs
The rate is calculated for your specific cargo: it depends on density, the product category, and whether the shipment goes by the express or standard route. We don't post a "from" range on the site — on this route, the spread between dense and bulky cargo is wider than the difference between carriers, and a quoted figure would be misleading.
You can check how it's calculated yourself: volume with a 1.1 coefficient, density, the pricing threshold — the chargeable weight calculator is there too.
Packing, insurance based on the declared value, and export documents for the shipment are paid separately from transport. Your broker calculates customs payments based on the product code.
Insurance and liability
| What | How |
|---|---|
| Basic coverage | included with the carrier by default, no separate insurance needed |
| Voluntary insurance | 1.5% of value for items valued up to $30/kg, 2.5% for $30 to $50, and 3.5% above $50 |
| What's covered | loss, theft, non-delivery |
| What's not covered | breakage and water damage — by neither basic coverage nor voluntary insurance |
| Expensive cargo | over $80–100 per kilogram, the carrier doesn't insure it at all |
It's packaging, not a policy, that protects against breakage — which is why we talk about it before dispatch. If you decline crating to save money, that's your right, but we record the refusal in writing: there will be nothing to compensate breakage with.
A detail that's rarely mentioned: carriers are liable for delays. If the deadline is missed through their fault, claiming compensation is our job, not yours.
What won't ship on this route
Carriers' ban lists are broader than the legal ones, and truck and air have different lists.
| Category | Truck | Air express |
|---|---|---|
| Drones and components | no | no |
| Military items, communications equipment for security services | no | no |
| Batteries | by arrangement | no |
| Liquids, powders | no | dangerous — no |
| Supplements, tea, medicines | no | by arrangement |
| Bottles, coins | no | by arrangement |
| Magnetized items | by arrangement | no |
| Fakes and counterfeit goods | no | no |
On top of that, we have our own restrictions for Russia: motor vehicles are hard to ship in 2026, gases and freon are only taken in large volumes, and liquids and chemicals — from 500 kilograms. Full breakdown — which cargo we ship and which we don't.
What we don't do on this route
- We don't replace you as the importer. By default, your broker files the declaration: the contract and the goods are registered under your legal entity, and the input VAT stays yours. No broker? We'll recommend vetted ones or arrange the filing as a separate service.
- We don't offer fulfillment in Russia. The service is closed: we sold the vehicle used for marketplace drop-off, the economics didn't work out. Fulfillment remains available in China and on Uzum through partners.
- We don't ship parcels. Minimum 50 kilograms; it's more cost-effective to consolidate from 150.
Frequently asked questions
How long does cargo from China to Russia take?
Truck on the express route — 15–20 days actual, though the carrier quotes 12–15. The standard route — 18–35 days against a quoted 18–25.
Air express to Moscow — 72 hours after departure plus pickup in Moscow. We quote the actual timelines and tell you about any delay ourselves, before you ask.
Is this white delivery or cargo?
White: a direct TIR truck moves through official customs clearance. The contract with the supplier, invoice, and declaration are issued under your legal entity, the goods are yours on paper, and the input VAT goes to offset.
Your customs broker handles the declaration — we provide the logistics, the document package, and payment to the supplier.
How much does shipping from China to Russia cost per kilogram?
There's no single figure: the rate depends on cargo density, the product category, and the chosen route. Send us the weight and dimensions — we'll calculate it the same day. The calculation basis — kilograms or cubic meters — depends on the carrier's price list and is always stated in your calculation.
What should I do if the cargo is delayed at customs?
Your broker handles the declaration, and they're the first to learn about a delay. On our side, we provide everything that might be needed: export documents, receiving photos, actual measurements, correspondence with the factory.
A complete set of documents doesn't guarantee quick release — inspections in 2026 happen constantly. We say this upfront, not after the shipment has already stalled.
Do you ship batteries and battery-powered devices to Russia?
By air express — no: batteries are classified as dangerous goods. By truck — by arrangement, terms depend on the cell type and whether it's built into a device or shipped separately.
Tell us about the battery before we calculate the quote: a carrier refusing an already-consolidated shipment costs more than a minute spent checking.
Do you deliver goods to marketplaces in Russia?
No, we've closed this service: we sold the vehicle used for marketplace drop-off, the economics didn't work out. We won't promise something we don't do.
Fulfillment operates in China — intake, inspection, labeling, repacking, your branded tape — and on Uzum in Uzbekistan through partners.
What's the minimum shipment size?
50 kilograms. It's more cost-effective to consolidate from 150: on shipments around 50 kg, the rate per kilogram is noticeably higher.
Orders can accumulate at our warehouse in Guangzhou until the shipment is ready — storage before shipping is free.
Send us the cargo name, weight, and dimensions — we'll name the rate, the actual timeline, and tell you right away if the category won't ship on this route.
